Our Story

Meet our Pastry Chef and Co-Owner

Chef Veronica’s career began in 2015 when she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Baking and Pastry Degree from the Art Institute of Philadelphia. She was the former Executive Pastry Chef for Morimoto in Center City and in February of 2020 she took home first place as a contestant for Chopped Sweets on Food Network. So what’s next for Chef Veronica?

On her down time you can catch Veronica weight training in the gym or exploring the city for new restaurants. Superset Sweets is a vision two first generation cousins saw that would immensely change the world of fitness. This is were desserts and gains meet!

Meet our Co-Owner

Valerie’s culinary background began when she graduated first generation from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island in 2017. Valerie obtained an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelors in Food Service Management with a minor in Food and Beverage. Apart of the many leadership roles she held during her undergraduate years, she is also a proud Hermana of Sigma Lambda Upsilon Senoritas Latinas Unidas Sorority, Inc.

Aside for her love for food and fitness you can catch Valerie travelling the world. Exploring different parts of the world is something she has fallen in love with. Throughout the years she has visited many countries and has expanded her profound love for cultural diversity.
